I’m starting the week with a fabulous family location shoot at Coughton Court. It’s a lovely place for a day out and the spring flowers were in full bloom. The kids were reluctant to stand still for more than a few seconds so my list of planned shots didn’t get many ticked off! However, one of the great things about location shoots is that I can stand back and watch the children having fun and being themselves – or rather run along behind! I think the resulting shots really capture their personalities, grubby knees and all.
This shoot was part of an exciting new product I’m about to launch – watch this space for more details later this week!
Confession time – I’ve been a very bad blogger! I have loads of shoots from last year stored up on my hard drive, which really need to see the light of day.
So, in the hope of turning over a new leaf for the new year (a little late but hey, better late than never), here are some of my favourite shots from a shoot at the Custard Factory last November. Thanks to talented designer Diana Ardelean for loaning us some fabulous dresses. Also thanks to our fab models who braved the cold and to Steve Philips for his assistance with OCF. Last but certainly not least, Mr Jeff Land for organising the event.
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending an Autumn afternoon with this gorgeous family. We started at the Martineau Gardens, a hidden treasure not far from the City Centre, then moved onto Cannon Hill Park. The girls had great fun exploring and playing with the leaves in the sunshine.
It’s lovely to be able to capture children having fun and enjoying nature. If you would like to book a session for the new year, please get in touch!
Things have been rather quiet on my blog of late – I’m really busy with my house extension which is nearing completion so the photography has had to go on the back burner for a while. However, I escaped the noise and dust today (another wall being knocked through) and had a fabulous day out in Worcestershire with a group of photographers and models. I have so many wonderful pictures – I started to do a sneak peek but couldn’t stop at just a couple. I still have more to show so watch this space!
I was really excited when the fabulous Eliza-Claire asked me to shoot a wedding at Highbury Hall with her. It was even more special because of all the amazing vintage details that Lucy and John incorporated into their day. They are two lovely people and I’m sure they will have a very happy life together.
It’s a real privilege to be able to share such a special day and to try to capture the emotion and detail for them to remember for the rest of their lives. I loved every minute and I think I may have caught the wedding bug!
